The Dow closed up 0.09% to finance energy stocks higher

November 10 U.S. stocks finished higher. At the close, the Dow Jones industrial average closed at 11,356.51 points, up 9.76 points, or 0.09%; the Nasdaq composite index closed at 2578.78 points, up 15.80 points, or 0.62%; the S & P 500 index closed at 1218.74 points, up 5.34 points, or 0.44%.

Read from the disk, science and technology sector, Amazon closed up 1.73%, eBay, Adobe and other gains surpassed 1%, Apple, Dell, Microsoft, closed up slightly, Oracle, Google and fell. Financial sector, Citigroup closed up 3.07%, JP Morgan Chase, NYSE, Visa and other gains surpassed 1%, Morgan Stanley, American Express, Goldman Sachs rose slightly. Energy and automotive sector, Halliburton closed up 5%, Ford Motor closed up 3.48%, ConocoPhillips, Chevron rose surpassed 1%, Exxon Mobil closed up 0.74%.

Message level, the U.S. Department of Labor announced that the U.S. first time jobless claims last week by 2.4 million, the total fell to 435,000, the lowest level since April 4. Four-week moving average of initial jobless claims also fell to a time where the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers, the lowest since the week.
