3M announced Monday the appointment of Inge Thulin as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer ("COO") with effect from the beginning.
Aged 57, Inge Thulin was previously director of international operations of the diversified group, which owns brands such as 3M and Scotch-Brite.
It will, in his new office, under the responsibility of George Buckley, chief executive of U.S. conglomerate.
According to 3M, Thulin will be responsible for "daily" of the six segments of the group's activities and its international activities.
