Bouygues 2011 sales target revised upwards

Bouygues posted a net profit of 34 million euros in first quarter 2011, down 147 million euros a year.

"This change is explained mainly by two factors: the declining contribution of Alstom (23 million euros in the first quarter of 2011 against 115 million euros in first quarter 2010) and taking into account the first quarter of 2010 a net non-recurring financial income related to the operation Alstom Hydro Holding up to 41 million euros, "the group said.

Current operating income amounted to 153 million euros, down 10%.

According to Bouygues, the period was marked by the confirmation of the reorganization of TF1 and the continued growth strategy at Bouygues Telecom, while the construction division made a good start this year.

As for turnover, it reached 6.7 billion euros, up 4% or 1% at constant scope and exchange rates.

Finally, Bouygues revises upward its target of annual turnover, to 31.9 billion euros.
